VistaVu Solutions to install SAP Business One for Crossfire
CALGARY, Alberta, Canada (June 29, 2011)—VistaVu Solutions, a leading provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions for energy service companies, announced today that Crossfire LLC has chosen them to implement SAP Business One and FieldVu software.
Crossfire, based in southwest Colorado, provides oil and gas field construction services, pipeline construction, hauling services, reclamation services, well servicing, commercial construction and excavation, hydro excavation and utility construction services in the western states. Safety is a number one concern to them, making it imperative they have a business management solution that can help them maintain their certifications and preventative maintenance.
Brook Lee, Office Manager for Crossfire, said that no other software that her team demoed that seemed to be as much of a good fit for the oil & gas field services industry – as it relates to field ticketing, invoicing, and payroll.
“While researching possible software companies, VistaVu’s online demo appeared to fit perfectly or better than any other solution for our line of business,” Lee said. “On further review of VistaVu’s solution, the product had everything our current software is lacking - Field Ticketing, Equipment Dispatch, Materials used, Labor, Job Costing, and Invoicing were all in one place. When the system is live, we expect to eliminate the use of multiple systems and duplicate data entry.”
Lee said another reason for the change was their continued expansion in the western states. Crossfire’s employees are spread out, so having a centralized system to better manage the workload and inventory will help to close the special gap.
